Face the Strange

A little over three years ago I made a promise to myself to write something, anything, once a week. I have kept that promise and published over 150 essays here to keep myself accountable. The undertaking has been challenging, enlightening, and rewarding. I know now that I am capable of writing and holding my commitment to make it a priority.

Lately, I’ve felt rushed on Sunday mornings. I find myself wishing I could sit longer with each topic to let my ideas marinate and allow time for research. So while I will still personally honor my commitment to sit down and write, I no longer feel it’s necessary to publish an essay each week. Instead I plan share more in depth writing intermittently.

I am grateful for all that I have learned about myself during this experiment and hope to put that knowledge to good use expressing more nuanced thoughts in the future. I am so appreciative of all who have spent their time and attention here.
